Q: Will the Budget Hosting package be enough for my website?

A: Websites usually don't use a lot of space. In our experience most small and medium websites will not use all the available resources on the "Budget Hosting package. As your website grows you can easily upgrade your hosting to one of our bigger packages.

Q: What is a domain name?

A: A domain name is the address of your website that people will use to get to your website. Domain names must be unique and can be almost anything that you want it to be. For example a company called Happy Traders can have happytraders.co.za as their domain name. This will also help their clients to easily find the website.

Q: Can I transfer my domain to you for hosting?

A: Yes you can. Just contact us and we will take care of the rest.

Q: Can I park a domain with you?

A: Of course you can!

Q: Is it possible to only use my domain for email without a website?

A: Indeed. Some of our clients don't really need a website but would like to have a custom email address.

Q: Why do I need hosting for my website?

A: Every website is hosted somewhere in order for it to be available 24/7. We provide different hosting packages to suite your needs. Our Budget Hosting package is all you need to get started. Hosting packages can be upgraded at a later stage when your website has grown larger. You can visit our hosting page for more info on the different packages that we offer.

Q: Will my domain be registered in my name?

A: Definitely. After all, it is your website. We believe that our clients must be in full control of their own websites.

Q: Can I see my website statistics and how many hits my site gets?

A: Now what will a website be without that option? You can get detailed information on visits, what websites link to you, what people search for in google to get to you, who visit your website the most, the number of hits on your website and loads more from within the control panel for your website.

Q: Can I send loads of emails from my website?

A: Hmmm.. Well that's a very big no-no. Spam is evil and if you want to market your website through emails we suggest you find a company that will send bulk mail for you. That way you won't use all the resources and cause the emails for other users on the servers to fail.

Q: Can I get a database with my website?

A: Yes you can. In fact you get at least three databases when you host your website with us.

Q: Can I use PHP on my website?

A: Yes you can. PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript is supported.
